ABOUT ME
I felt compelled to tell a little bit about the person who made this website. The owner/creator of RayovLight Creations, ME! My name is Christa. I'm located in Pennsylvania. I'm happily married to the love of my life, his name is Shane. I'll list some of my interests just so you can get a feel for the person who made this model horse obsessed site. I love books, let's start with them: Favorite books: Anything Dean Koontz, Albert Payson Terhune, John Saul, Tami Hoag, the Pendergast books by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston, J.K. Rowling and James Patterson ever touched a pen to have been pure gold. They are my favorites, but I will read mostly everything. I have my favorite classics and I also have always loved the Serendipity books. I also love the Eragon/Inheritance books. Art: I love the Unicorn Tapestries. They are amazing. The detail is exquisite. Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, those wonderful artists right up there to Sue Dawe and fantasy artists. If it's dramatic and filled with color and has meaning, chances are I'll like it. My chiropractor has this excellent piece in his office. I think it's made of a wood or teke of some type, it's large, a grouping of dolphins in many different colors leaping and playing. It's just a simple piece that strikes me as being carefree and gentle. I keep forgetting to ask him what it is and where it's from. He has more pieces like it. One's just as beautiful as the next. There's this other painting that always strikes me. It's because I've had dreams about it all my life. I don't know anything about it, all I know is that it has a beautiful chariot with a man with a white beard in it and it's drawn by either 4 white horses or 4 horses made of fire. Intense. Animals: I love pretty much all animals. I'm totally addicted to horses and dogs. I'm dangerously arachnophobic though. I have two Poms, a little father and son, Morgan (ROL Tiny Dancer) a cream sable and Chanon (ROL Seaway Thundercloud) a shaded orange sable and a lovely black cat named Samm (ROL Sunlight Sammson). Also in the house, are Mom's babies, a little wolf sable Pom named Wolfie (ROL Whirling Dervish), an orangle sable Pom named Kai (Keen ROL Paradise Found) and her orange tabby named Autumn (ROL Autumn Leaf). Favorite Stores: OH OH! Barnes N Noble!!!!! BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!!!!! Get a cup of coffee (decaf of course) and read every book in the store! Ahhhh, talk about refreshing. There's nothing like a good book and a cushy chair. And water... I mean coffee. That's what I like to do. As for online stores, when I don't feel like leaving the house, I like surfing around half.com, MH$P (model horse sales pages) and ebay. Favorite Movies: Phar Lap, The Last Unicorn, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Lilo and Stitch (I just love Stitch!), The 2 Snowy River Movies, All the Pretty Horses, the Tomb Raider movies, Eragon, the Harry Potter movies. They are just some of my favorites. I like a good romance that pulls at my heartstrings or a comedy that makes me laugh myself silly. Favorite Places: Anyplace where Shane is is my favorite place to be. But when we can't be together, I like going to the local Grille for breakfast. I love the ocean. I like to lay in the cool grass and look up at the sky. I like to find a nice tree and sit under it and feel the breeze blow through my hair. I love being with horses, smelling the smells, hearing the nickers and neighs, watching the bright eyes look around and ears twitch with curiosity. I love to be with my boys. My furkids are soothing to me. I like a nice spring day so I sit outside and close my eyes and be still. Favorite Music: I can't even start a list without making darn sure that you are reading forever and ever. Anything Lee Kernaghan's ever written/sung/played, etc, Jonatha Brooke's 10¢ Wings, Savage Garden's Affirmation. Soundtracks to The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, Miss Saigon are all part of my collection. I have an entire collection of George Winston. I love piano music (and I do play), cello, flute, anything calming and easy to breathe to. I don't like rap, techno or country, though I have found that I like Australian country, Lee Kernaghan to be precise. And I'm not big on opera. But if I can sing to it (and I sing as well) I will. I used to sing at church and I was in talent shows all through grade school (winning every one I was in by the way). My voice isn't as strong as it was, but I exercise it every day so it's getting there. Most of the music I listen to plays so I can sing to it. What do I do in my spare time? Well, what a silly question! I customize model horses of course! I do websites, meditate, play with my puppers, talk to my mom, and read, read, read! I spend alot of time online talking to my husband in Australia and that is my absolute favorite pastime. :) That's mostly what I do. Here I am, I just do what I do. So blah blah, I guess that's about it for me. I'm a person who loves love, sweet smiles and great hugs and beautiful things! Too much information? What do you expect?
